Liz Taylor Yoga Studio:
Liz Taylor Yoga Studio is located at 11049 Aurora Avenue in Urbandale, Iowa and can be reached by phone at 971-YOGA. View a Map or Get Driving Directions.

We are located in Aurora Building 1, on the northwest corner of 112th and Aurora. Class lengths vary-see Schedule below for details!

Monday:   Y 9:00-10:00am / YC 5:30-6:30pm / Y 6:45-7:45pm
Tuesday:   Y 7:00-8:00am / Y 9:30-10:45am / Y 6:30-8:00pm
Wednesday:   Y 6:45-7:45pm
Thursday:   Y 4:30-5:45pm / Yin 6:30-8:00pm
Friday:   Y 9:30-10:45am / Y 12:00-1:00pm
Saturday:   Y 9:00-10:30am / YM 10:45am-11:45am
Sunday:   Y 9:00-10:15am / B*  1:00-2:15pm

They're perfect for beginners and will help you learn the basics of yoga while creating a healthier body and mind! No need to pre-register or call ahead, simply join us 15 minutes before class to meet the teacher. We hope to see you soon!

Class Descriptions:
            Gentle Relaxation Classes:            
  • B -- Yoga Basics. Learn yoga fundamentals as you release stress and strengthen your body! This class helps you learn proper alignment in traditional yoga poses. Perfect for beginners or anyone wishing to brush up on the basics, it's a great way to start your week!

  • Yin -- Yin Yoga. A treat for body and soul! Join us for this extra gentle yoga class designed to help melt your tension away! We'll use blocks and blankets to help you enjoy relaxing stretches and yoga poses. Recommended for beginners and perfect for anyone needing a break from life's busy pace!

  • YM -- Yoga and Meditation. Join us for gentle, restorative yoga stretches followed by guided meditation and relaxation. Meditations feature mantra, easy chanting or visualization. Enjoy it on its own or as a compliment to our multi-level classes!

                Classes for All Levels:                
  • Y -- Yoga Classes. Liz Taylor Yoga Classes feature multi-level instructions that allow you to adapt class intensity levels to your own needs! Our vinyasa (flow) style classes will challenge and inspire beginners and experienced students alike!

                  Intermediate level:                  
  • YC -- Yoga Challenge. Shift your practice into overdrive with asanas designed to take you to a whole new level! Students should be comfortable with the basic vinyasa, balance poses and head, shoulder or hand stands. Join us for the yoga boost you'll look forward to every week!
